We are delighted to be able to offer you an exciting February programme of activities to keep you and your family entertained during the school break.
All events are available to members of LAS and places must be booked via LAS to receive entry at the vastly reduced price, courtesy of LAS, of £2 per family per event. We hope that this saving will enable your family to participate in activities together during the term time break that otherwise may not be quite so accessible.
We are confident from the take up in October that the activities offered will prove to be extremely popular. So please ensure you return your booking form no later than Monday 8th February 2010. Some events have limited availability and are likely to go fast so the earlier you book the better!

In 2009, we were able to offer a family programme of activities during both the October and February holidays as well as offering a five day residential break to the Calvert Trust in October to 18 children and young people along with their parent or carer.
In 2008, we offered an exciting 6 day family programme of activities, which was enjoyed by 35 children and young people and their families. Our programme was compiled using information gained from our children on what they liked to do best at playscheme. Days out included Edinburgh Zoo, Mill Farm, Scotland Yard Adventure Centre, with trampoline fun hitting the mark at Orcadia and Lo-gy, as well as soft play fun at Time Twisters.
In 2007, we offered a five day residential break for our children and young people and a parent or carer, with meals, activities and transport provided. Twelve children aged between 6 and 14 years took up the opportunity to be adventurous at the Calvert Trust in Keswick and five young people aged between 15 and 18 years, enjoyed time out at the Barnabas Centre in Newcastleton.
