LAS recognise that being a parent or carer of a child with ASC is often described as one of the hardest jobs in the world.  Parents of newly diagnosed children with ASC find it helpful to talk to someone who has been, or is going through, the same experiences, for reassurance and support.  Monthly meetings are held throughout the year and have continued to prove popular with parents who choose to meet in an informal setting and share experiences/good practice and provide support to each other.
